We at Canada’s Theatre Museum want to express our gratitude. With the support of our generous donors, we have been able to celebrate, preserve, and share the stories that make Canadian performing arts so special. Through learning events and gatherings, we have created over 800 hours of engagement this year, connecting donors, artists, students, and community members to celebrate Canadian performing arts. Our Legend Library continues to grow, capturing the voices and experiences of the artists who have shaped our stages. Each story we record and share is a living reminder that the performing arts are at the heart of Canada’s identity.
We are now preparing for the next exciting chapter. Even before we start renovation, our new home inside the historic Elgin & Winter Garden Theatres welcomed guests to over two dozen events this year.
Soon, we will open our doors to the public on a regular basis, creating a national space where people can explore Canadian performing arts history up close and personal. Visitors will be able to experience the behind-the-scenes magic and share everything that we love about theatre.

It fosters pride, belonging, and unity. It keeps the spirit of Canadian performing arts alive and thriving, providing artists and audiences with a place to connect, create, and celebrate together.
