PAST EXHIBITION<\/em><\/p>\n Fall 2011<\/p>\n NAC English Theatre in association with Theatre Museum Canada presented a retrospective exhibit about the life and work of one of Canada\u2019s most important playwrights, Newfoundland and Labrador\u2019s David French (1939-2010), in conjunction with the production of his play Salt-Water Moon<\/em>. Focusing on his five semi-autobiographical plays about the fictional Mercer family of Newfoundland, the exhibit combines rare artifacts, images and text to examine the history of French\u2019s darkly humorous slice-of-life dramas, and his far-reaching influence in the development of English Canadian theatre.<\/p>\n Produced by the National Arts Centre in association with Theatre Museum Canada<\/p>\n This exhibit is currently available for touring to venues across Canada.<\/p>\n For more information about this option, please contact:
