An exhibit celebrating Canadian women of the stage whose talent was recognized in theatres around the world.<\/h2>\n

Canadians like Beatrice Lillie, Margaret Anglin, May Irwin and Julia Arthur were the toast of Broadway and London\u2019s West End theatres.<\/h3>\n

But how did these women from Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton and Cobourg Ontario find stardom? The exhibit explores their childhoods, private lives, careers and celebrity<\/h3>\n

Coming to see a show at Hart House Theatre? The exhibit is available to audience members and the general public half an hour before each show.<\/h2>\n
