Canada’s Theatre Museum mourns the loss of actor Graham Greene, a member of the museum’s Advisory Circle who contributed so much to our stages, and was so generous with his time.
In 2022, Graham joined R.H. Thomson for an in-depth and frank conversation about his life on stage as part of the museum’s online Legend Library project.
Graham Greene received the 2025 Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement, and was awarded the Order of Canada for “his achievements as a pioneering and versatile actor of the stage and screen.” Brian Robertson, Board Chair, notes “Graham Greene added so much to the cultural fabric of Canada with his storytelling on stages and screens, and he was always so encouraging about Canada’s Theatre Museum. These contributions will always be remembered. Our condolences to his family and many friends.”

We will share any news of a celebration of his life when it becomes available.
