Le Mus\u00e9e canadien du th\u00e9\u00e2tre et Dance Collection Danse ont accueilli le lancement de ce livre sp\u00e9cial en \u00e9dition limit\u00e9e le 16 mars 2026 \u00e0 17 h.<\/p>

Still With Us<\/em>\u00a0est un ouvrage marquant qui r\u00e9fl\u00e9chit aux effets d\u00e9vastateurs du VIH\/sida sur le milieu de la danse au Canada. Dirig\u00e9 par Christopher House, longtemps directeur artistique du Toronto Dance Theatre, il tient \u00e0 la fois de l\u2019archive et du m\u00e9morial, de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration et de l\u2019invitation \u00e0 la r\u00e9flexion. Au c\u0153ur de ce livre se trouvent les nombreux artistes et coll\u00e8gues du milieu de la danse emport\u00e9s par la maladie. Il rassemble des r\u00e9cits et des images de celles et ceux qui sont d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s, ainsi que de membres de leur famille, d\u2019ami\u00b7e\u00b7s, d\u2019amant\u00b7e\u00b7s et d\u2019autres proches aidant\u00b7e\u00b7s; il donne aussi la parole \u00e0 des artistes de la danse vivant aujourd\u2019hui avec le VIH, \u00e9voque des gestes courageux de soutien, ainsi que des \u0153uvres chor\u00e9graphiques cr\u00e9\u00e9es en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie. L\u2019ouvrage comprend \u00e9galement des essais command\u00e9s, de la po\u00e9sie et une table ronde r\u00e9unissant de jeunes chor\u00e9graphes.\u00a0Still With Us<\/em>\u00a0is both a moving tribute to the fallen and a call to action.<\/p>
