Canada’s Theatre Museum Announces Its New Home Within The Elgin And Winter Garden Theatre Centre.

TORONTO ( Thursday, March 23, 2023) – Canada’s Theatre Museum announced today that it will have a new home located in the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre.

The museum is in the planning stages of a $5Million Campaign that will provide capital, museum start-up and operating funding, and create a solid financial future by building on the endowment and sustaining funds.

Planning and design work is underway with Toronto-based international multidisciplinary design firm Reich&Petch. This exciting new museum will be an integral part of Canada’s theatre community, past, present and future with space for dynamic exhibits, presentations and educational programming.

In Memoriam: Graham Greene, C.M.

Canada’s Theatre Museum mourns the loss of actor Graham Greene, a member of the museum’s Advisory Circle who contributed so much to our stages, and was so generous with his time. In 2022, Graham joined R.H. Thomson for an in-depth and frank conversation about his life on stage as part of the museum’s online Legend Library project.
